Skylum collection of usage data
AnsweredSkylum has said your collection of usage data is to improve the product, etc. Skylum has also said there is no data collected that identifies users. However, in your data usage policy statement you say "We may link information we store within the analytics software to Personal Data you submit when purchasing Products or interacting with our Website." So you are actually saying here that you can link the analytics data to personal identification data. That is essentially the same as collecting personal identification data.
How do you explain this obvious conflict in your statements?
I would like to request a feature that allows users to opt out of the analytics data collection that works essentially the same as if they always use the product offline. In fact, I request that analytics data collection be opt-in and not performed by default.

Hi Doug! Your IP does not serve as a means of personal identification in this case, because it is not directly associated with you. Simply put, Facebook generates a special non-personalized identifier for the IP, so that neither we nor Facebook cannot associate this data with you in any way. We use Facebook analytics for general statistics, like a number of software downloads, etc. If you have any further questions, I would recommend you to contact our legal team at privacy@skylum.com - our legal specialists will be happy to clarify your inquiries further.
