Why is L4.1 still so slow. It is so frustrating.I tried to work on 5 images I took last week just to give Luminar another chance and maybe hope some things have improved. well, they didn´t.
Opening an image from the left preview list takes 25 seconds till it is ready to work on. If I want to compare it to another image from the previews on the left hand side it takes again 25 seconds each time.
After having changed some minor things in the images, the previews on the left now look extremely "geenish" just as tough I had overdone it with the colouring. By selecting one of these green previews it appears in this over-green version and blurry in the center. After 25 seconds waiting the image turns back to the way I processed it and is ready to work on again. This makes it impossible to compare images if they are shown with falsified colours for 25 sec...
The clone and erase tool takes, depending on the images, between 35 and 65 seconds to be ready to work. I don´t know why it takes so much longer with some images (all have about the same size) but even 35 seconds is far too long!
The Chromatic abberation tool just changes the colours from purple to yellow and from green to blue. This doesn´t improve my images. ?
This is what I noticed so far. I can´t force myself to work longer with L4.1.
i5 - 9400F CPU @ 2.90 GHz; 16GB RAM; NVIDIA GeForce GTX1650
brand new system, all drivers up to date.
Is there anything I can do to speed things up a bit. I´m new to image processing, I´m not working with layers or any advanced processing yet. Just adjusting lights and shadows. How is it possible that a software I had to pay for is worse than the basic tools that are included in windows?!? Oh, I´m getting angry again, -I better stop here :-(
help is apprciated!
