    Hi Steve,

Aurora HDR 2019 indeed doesn't support .CR3-format at the moment. At this time, we're mainly focused on developing our main product Luminar, therefore, there's no precise ETA for the next Aurora update. Our team has just released an update for Luminar 3 and we plan to ship the same update for Aurora HDR 2019 too. Once we have any news regarding that, we'll definitely let you know.

For now, we recommend you to install Adobe DNG Converter and convert your RAW files to DNG file format (which is supported by Aurora).

Please use one of the links below to download Adobe DNG Converter:

Steve, do not hold your breath. Skylum are Ambulance chasers. They chase low hanging $ re flex. I use Luminar for Sky Replacements as a plugin only.

Will Skylum offer a refund to those users of Aurora HDR that specifically use Canon CR3 RAW files if this update doesnt allow the use of these files in HDR 2019 ?

    Damn! I feel cheated!
Just bought L19 update because L18 could not even see my .CR3 files in my directories.
At least, you could, somewhere, warn your customers of this frustrating issue, I could have save money and lot of time downloading and installing!
    Not good.
And driving me to a competitor's conversion app is a shame.
    Not good at all.

    Hi Alanus,

Do you mean Aurora HDR or Luminar?

Indeed, Aurora doesn't support .CR3 file format, this information is open on our website: https://skylum.com/aurorahdr2019-supported-cameras

As to Luminar 4 and Luminar 3.2 as well - the both apps support CR3 file format, as listed here: https://skylum.com/Luminar_4.0.0_Supported_Cameras

Is you have an issue with a specific image, please send us an email with your file at support@skylum.com
