Colour Management Query Luminar 3
AnsweredHi Skylum
I have just purchased a wide colour gamut monitor that I can use with my MacBook Pro. It’s hardware calibrated and has presets for AdobeRGB and sRGB colour space, so I can view what images will look like in each colour space. I’ll work in sRGB for Web and AdobeRGB for printing/pro work.
My query is, does Luminar 3 recognise which colour space I am presently working in, when I open an image from the Library to Edit? There is no way to tell it in which space I’m working. If my monitor is in the sRGB or AdobeRGB setting does the L3 software recognise this and adjust accordingly? If it doesn’t then when I export the image it’s always going to look different than what Luminar shows me during processing.
Thanks.

Hi Gary,
Luminar 3 is a color-managed app.
However, I recommend you to have an sRGB profile set in the system of your computer.
Hence, the colors must be the same.
