    Hi Christian,

Please try uninstalling the app and installing an update one more time:

    Mac: https://downloads.skylum.com/luminar4/installer/mac/Luminar4Installer.zip

    Win: https://downloads.skylum.com/luminar4/installer/win/Luminar4Setup.exe

If the issue persists, please contact our support team https://skylum.com/support and we will do our best to take a closer look at what’s going on right away.

Downloaded your sample files: Your .cr2 file on my 8GB ram Win10 desktop computer took 1:43 minutes at 75% quality to export to jpeg. I then tried a .cr3 file from my camera and it took 1:55 minutes at 75%. I guess we both need newer hardware. I know I do. That said, I am rather certain Skylum can do more to improve performance, even on lower end hardware.

Note: On my Surface Pro 3 (Win10 8GB ram, I-7 processor, SSD drive) it took 1:30 minutes at 75% quality to export a .cr3 file to jpeg.

@Christian: More ram is the single best thing one can do to improve performance and a fast CPU processor/video card are a close second. A solid state drive can definitely improve load time. As I indicated in my previous response, there is still much room for Skylum to improve performance. As a comparsion, using Lightroom CC I was able to export a .cr3 file to jpeg is 6-7 seconds.

On my Windows 10 PC with i5 processor, 32 GB Ram and 6GB VRam I produced, from your image, a 28 MB JPEG (100%) in 21 seconds.

I am using a cheap(€80) AMD Ryzen 2200G and exporting your RAW image took 7 seconds to export JPEG 100%(75% was 5 seconds).

    AMD Ryzen 2200G

    16GB Ram (running @ 2993 Mhz)

    SSD

No GFX card, using internal GPU from Ryzen 2200G

    I am running insider WIN 10 2004(Build 19041.1)

Exporting on version Luminar 4 version 4.0 took more than double the time (about 16 seconds)

RAM was no problem using less than 2GB

    All the best,

    Robin
