You should know that Skylum software was initially a Mac only product. Eventually they took on TRYING to adapt to the Windows OS will some success. I have all Skylum software installed on a laptop and the software is flawless. My custom-built and extremely fast, high-end desktop, I use for photo and video editing is not supported by any Skylum software after Luminar 2018 and Aurora 2018.
I spent several weeks working with the Skylum team troubleshooting my rig, eventually coming to the conclusion that there wasn't a fix and leaving me with the impression that their support team is not as familiar with Windows as they are with Mac OS. I received a free version of Luminar 4 for my troubles, only to discover the same issues - works on laptop but not on desktop. Eventually decided to look elsewhere for my processing needs.
Recently I was informed that there was another version of Luminar 4 etc. coming out in March 2020 (don['t quote me on that) that MAY address the issues.
