I know that you can watermark and thats great, but I hope for the future, you will add a simple way to add text to a photo. I is needed for somethings that I do and it don't know how to work around it.  I have to go to someone with LR.  Update please???

  We don't have immediate plans for a text tool, but I'll certainly share your suggestion with our developers for their consideration.

  I see you are on a Mac.
  
  One option you can do on your computer is the use Keynote to design text and logo overlays.  Keynote is a free tool and has text, pen tools, and shapes.  Just design over a black slide and export a graphic (File > Export).

   

  You can bring that into Luminar as a new layer and use the screen blending mode to knock out the black.
