    Hi Jerry,

Yes, I also got this email.

From what I can see it is genuine, but it is from an associated TeamSkylum company. What worried me is that this company will track your usage of Luminar. Well, to me that's unwelcome and intrusive, and yet another increase in computer resources that Luminar 4 could well do without, so I've deleted any associated cookies/cache etc from my PC. In future, I'll be very wary of any emails from TeamSkylum.

Here's how to upload custom skies:

    1. Navigate to the Creative Tab (a palette icon)
    2. Choose AI Sky Replacement tool > Sky Selection.
    3. Scroll down the list of the pre-installed skies > Load Custom Sky Image.
    4. A dialog window will open where you'll need to choose your own sky image.
    5. Confirm the selection and enjoy the tool!

AI Sky Replacement will work with your own photos if they are in one of the following formats: JPEG, JPG, PNG, and TIFF.
