Ok, I am trying L4 and overall it's what I expected: half-baked and crashing frequently. The ballyhooed Sky Replacement fails as often as it works. I, like many others, have experienced tonal and color contamination in non-sky areas. One image I shot of the VT State Capitol building (white) is stained yellow when a replacement sky is applied. So, I tried Edit Mask.
Apparently, in L4, there is no way to turn on an overlay to see where one is brushing. Nor is there a way to view the mask full screen. The mask thumbnail is so tiny that it is useless as a guide. If there is a way to do these things, I can't find them in the software or in the draft user guide.
I find that I have to do the brushing in one go. During the first brush, the cast is removed. If I release the mouse and start again, it actually makes it worse. I could probably rectify this if I wasn't trying to mask totally blind.
You are a pathetic company Skylum. Hurry up and close this thread to censor others from chiming in agreeing with this assessment under the excuse of removing duplicate threads. This is supposed to be a forum for user to user interaction, yet you have decided to arbitrarily close threads to limit well-deserved criticism of your software and business practices. With this move, your level of shadiness has dropped another EV.
