Luminar 4 on latest MackBook Pro 16" very slow

I installed the new Luminar 4 on the newest and fastest MacBook Pro 16" and tried to rate images from a shooting. Using Luminar just for rating and clicking through an folder of 900 images it is damn slow. It takes 7 to 10 for each image in the library to just load until I can rate it or move to the next image. It doesn't creat and uses any caches and is not usable this way! 

Until I went through 900 images to just rate them it took me 4 hours and the battery drained two times. 

I am on the fastest newest MacBook Pro with a battery that is supposed to last for more than 10 hours, but Luminar drains the battery in under two hours and is very very slow. NOT USABLE AT ALL! 

Luminar crashed also three times by just clicking through the images!
