Luminar3 recognize CR2 as RAW?

I have just bought Luminar3 from Amazon.  The install went Ok, "About" shows the vers # as 3.1.3.3920.  I am trying to develop an old (from Canon 50D) CR2 RAW file.  But the Edit section only shows "Develop", never "RAW Develop".  I cannot find any way to access RAW Develop.  The Info panel for this image does show the CR2 extension in the filename.  The image looks fine and the usual adjustments work.

I need RAW because I want to Defringe the image.  And the Lens filters never show.  I assume the Lens filters are available only for RAW images?

  Resolved in e-mail exchange with Luminar support.  User error (of course).  I had been trying to do all of my editing in layers that I created.  But the RAW Develop and Lens filters are accessible only in the Base layer, not any additional layers you create.
