Excuse me because I know I'm sounding quite frustrated here. I'm a prepaid user of Luminar 4 and have been using all of the previous versions of Luminar with no issues at all.
However, I'm at wit's end trying to get the Luminar 4 Install/Download file (around 3 megs in size) to function. I've submitted a support request on this and all I received was one email asking me to submit the "hosts" file from my PC - which I sent them 4-5 days ago. I've heard nothing back.
My issue is this:
1. I go to click on the install file - it comes up on the screen (see screen shot below):
However, whenever I click on "accept," the following error message comes up, telling me that I have to be connected to the internet!!!!!!!!! The issue is that I AM connected to the internet via fiber optic cable and my download speeds are 500 megs per second.
No matter what I've tried - rebooting, downloading new install files - everything. Nothing works. I cannot get back to this point and I'm irritated to the max. And Support is beyond slow - which is doing me no good at all.
At this point, as much as I'd hate to do it, I'm close to just deciding "the hell with it," and requesting a refund and looking else for my photo editing needs - but I really don't want to do that.
Can somebody - whoever - please solve this issue for me? As I said, as directed by one support email a week ago, I've submitted my hosts file and I've heard nothing back.
