Can Somebody Please HELP - unable to get Install file to function?
AnsweredExcuse me because I know I'm sounding quite frustrated here. I'm a prepaid user of Luminar 4 and have been using all of the previous versions of Luminar with no issues at all.
However, I'm at wit's end trying to get the Luminar 4 Install/Download file (around 3 megs in size) to function. I've submitted a support request on this and all I received was one email asking me to submit the "hosts" file from my PC - which I sent them 4-5 days ago. I've heard nothing back.
My issue is this:
1. I go to click on the install file - it comes up on the screen (see screen shot below):
However, whenever I click on "accept," the following error message comes up, telling me that I have to be connected to the internet!!!!!!!!! The issue is that I AM connected to the internet via fiber optic cable and my download speeds are 500 megs per second.
No matter what I've tried - rebooting, downloading new install files - everything. Nothing works. I cannot get back to this point and I'm irritated to the max. And Support is beyond slow - which is doing me no good at all.
At this point, as much as I'd hate to do it, I'm close to just deciding "the hell with it," and requesting a refund and looking else for my photo editing needs - but I really don't want to do that.
Can somebody - whoever - please solve this issue for me? As I said, as directed by one support email a week ago, I've submitted my hosts file and I've heard nothing back.

For Windows version - have you tried the "offline" installer? Go to this thread:

then scroll down to the comments and in the boxed item find "In case it doesn't work, please try to use an alternate installer" and follow the link to an "offline.msi" installer. Good luck.
