Basically, Luminar 4 replaces Flex and can be used as a plugin for Photoshop, Photoshop Elements and Lightroom. That said, Flex can read/write .lmnr files whereas Luminar 4 cannot. Support says L4 should be able to read .lmnr files but on the Windows platform it cannot. Not a big deal if you do not use Flex to save your editing session as a lmnr file.

Thank you for your quick response. I export my photo back into Lightroom so the .lmnr file should not be a problem, if I understand the information correctly. Luminar 4 has all the same capabilities as Luminar Flex? I read that Luminar 4 for Windows has less capabilities than Luminar 4 for Mac, so was curious as to the comparison between Luminar Flex and Luminar 4 for Windows.

Luminar 4, with the exception of lmnr files, has the same capabilities as Flex. Look up Jim Nix on YouTube as he has lots of videos on L4. You are correct in that the Windows version is not yet on par with the Mac version.
