    Hi John,

Please provide us with the photo you're using via https://skylum.com/support. We'll test it on our end.

Here's how you can send us the file:

    1. Visit https://wetransfer.com/
    2. If it's your first time visiting this website, it may ask you to purchase a subscription. Simply select to proceed with the free version.
    3. Click Add your files.
    4. Select the file(s) on your computer.
    5. After you see all the files you need to send appear in the list, click the icon to the left of the Transfer button (the icon looks like a circle with three dots in it).
    6. In Send As select Link.
    7. Click Transfer.
    8. After the files have finished uploading, click Copy Link and paste it into your support request.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks.

Bit of additional info.  I researched before contacting you and I saw a guy had the same problem with Luminar3 and at the time you suggested he use an earlier version of Adobe DNG converter.  (I cannot do that)

However, I tried the same files with my older Luminar and, whatever the problem was, you seem to have fixed it because there is no problem loading the same files into Luminar 2018.

    Cheers

Is there an update on this? I have DNG files from 2012 that open with a blue cast and no longer have the originals!

    Hi Peter,

If you haven't already, please follow the instructions posted by my colleague, Kate, above and send us one of the DNG files in question so we can look into it. Thanks!

    Peter,

Please, reach us via https://skylum.com/support with this file, if you don't mind. This way, it would be more convenient for us both to troubleshoot the issue. Thanks in advance!

This is happening for me as well.  Luminar 4 and DNG, output from Topaz tools (Denoise Ai and Sharpen AI.  It does not happen to all files which is odd only about 30% of them. If a file does it, it always does it even if recreated from Topaz.  The initial image as it opens looks fine (embedded thumbnail) but the Luminar RAW processing creates an over whelming blue cast.

Helga, Thank you for the reply.  I already sent a request to support.  I have uploaded three sample files to wetransfer.  The link is https://we.tl/t-9c7yn1k3VF . These all go blue to a greater or lesser extent.  They are all from the same camera on the same day. I didn't have the link when I contacted support so will send it to them when they reply.  Converting to tiff gets around the problem but it would be nice to be able to go direct to Luminar.

This seems to be a persistent problem with Luminar.  I have found that occasionally it's impossible to import DNG files to Luminar AI and Luminar 4.  No rhyme or reason, and the files open in other popular software..What's the explanation, Skylum ?

    Hi Mike,

Not all DNG files are created the same, unfortunately. Have you checked to ensure that your camera is supported? You can find the list of supported cameras here: https://media.macphun.com/uploads/uploads/luminar/Luminar_AI_Supported_Cameras.pdf?

If your camera is listed, please send us one or two of the files that won't open to us at www.skylum.com/support or support@skylum.com so we can take a look at them and investigate the issue.
