Workspace beginner mode
AnsweredI feel like Luminar 4's workspace area is stuck in beginner mode. It seems it would be ideal for people new to photo editing, but it is annoying when trying to manage multiple adjustments. That being said, there should also be a professional mode that allows you to layout a custom workspace. If there were beginner and professional workspace toggle, all of the same tools/filters could be used it would allow best of both worlds. This new workflow UI seems like a step backwards. A simple toggle could give everyone best of both worlds from Luminar 3 and 4.

Bang on Adam! That's exactly what I've been saying. I spent quitea while looking for how to select an 'advanced mode' to get the functionality of L3 back but nope. Skylum told me filters have been removed or combines for reasons of stability. Kind of saying we couldn't get some of the stuff to work in this version so we took it out. Personally, I've put in for a refund for the pre-release discount purchase and sticking with L3. It's gone from a professional application to an ipad style app. Click on Sun, Palette, Smiley Face or the word PRO and pick a filter :o(
