Luminar 4 install error
AnsweredTrying to install Luminar 4, but getting that "can't connect/check your Internet connection"

Hi Ben, If you scroll a bit down, you see that Alina Skylum gave this link https://downloads.skylum.com/luminar4/win/Luminar4Setup_offline.msi to download luminar and install. It worked for me and once installed, you can activate it.

Add me to the list of people having this error when trying to activate Luminar 4.
"Connection Error. Please try later"
This is on MacOS 10.15.1 (19B88)
The hosts file on this machine is default:

::1 localhostOther things I have tried but that did not resolve the issue
- changed DNS settings on this machine to 1.1.1.1 to rule out pihole blocking luminar
- disabled MacOS firewall
- install from offline installer
- install in seperate, newly created user account

SO I bought Luminar 4 today, and I can't download it. I click on the application and nothing happens. I don't even get an error code. I actually get nothing. My curser gets a circle and nothing else. Just in case it was my computer I tried other programs to download and they worked.
I tried to reach Skylum, however, they can only be reached via email, no chat or phone is possible urgh...

If your computer meets all system requirements listed here, try reinstalling Luminar. We recommend doing a full uninstall with AppCleaner. AppCleaner is a free app that automatically removes not only applications but also the related files, making 'clean' uninstall easy.
- Download AppCleaner from here (click this text to open link).
- Install AppCleaner and start it.
- Drag Luminar from your Applications folder into the AppCleaner window. When removing Luminar, mark all the files and folders on the list, except for RTW788AXG3.com.skylum.luminar4
- Once you've uninstalled Luminar, restart your Mac and download a fresh version of Luminar from here:
