I have been emailing Skylum for 10 days now, a total of 8 email sent by me to "Jean" at the "Skylum Team" trying to get a refund for my purchase of Luminar 3. So far I have totally struck out. They totally ignore me. The program is terrible. When I first launched it, it found every image on my computer and put thrumbnails all over the place. Why in the world would it do that. I then tried to put in my key but could not find where to activate it. I have been using computers since 1979 and every program I have ever used puts that under Help. I finally gave up. And went to load an image and there, under File, was "Activate." Really guys??? You activate the program once they use it for years and have the "Activate" option cluttering up the options under File that you use all the time for the rest of your life. Talk about user unfriendly. I finally loaded an image I had downloaded to experiment with and I decided to try cropping a white border from the bottom. I clicked on Crop and the usual markers appeared and I dragged upwards the one in the center of the bottom like one does with every cropping program I have ever used but this crazy program decided I also wanted to crop the sides. WTF. I pressed Ctrl-z (the universal undo command) to undo it but that did nothing. I looked for an undo feature and none was evident. That was all I needed to know I wanted my money back, and it has gone further and further downhill ever since.
(Interestingly, the spell check they use doesn't recognize "Skylum" or "Luminar." What's the old expression, "Now quite ready for Prime Time."
If anyone has any suggestions as to how get Skylum to issue a refund when they ignore email requests, I would sure appreciate it.
