Paid Upgrade??

I understood that when I bought Luminar, upgrades would always be free. I rarely use it, as I've been waiting some of the LR features. There are a couple of things I bring in photos for, but not much, as I still need to pay for LR/PS and I know them well. It kind of sucks the app is being released with tiny upgrades, but now they want to charge as well. In my opinion, you guys need to build a competent replacement for LR, then if it's better, I'll give you more money.

  Hi Sheldon! Every year we release a new version with crucial features which make the app stand out from the previous version. Nevertheless, upgrades are optional and you can stick to your current one.

  Hi, Luminar releases free updates to the same version.

  You also have a license that is perpetual (it will continue to work without a subscription)

  Upgrades add features and come out every year or so.

  As a customer, you get a discount if you want the new tools.

  There are still updates planned for Lumianr 3 (see the roadmap mentioned above).
