Luminor 1.2.0. (1848) and openGL 3.3

 It seems that I now require openGL 3.3 to run the latest Luminor that I have just downloaded and installed.

openGL 3.3 I do not appear to have on my computer.   

Where/how do I download the previous version of Luminor ?

  Hi Andy,

  If you have two GPUs (integrated and dedicated) on your PC there's a chance an integrated one is used by default.

   

  Try to right-click on a Luminar2018 icon -> Run with Graphics Processor -> Your dedicated graphics card.

  I made an earlier comment, ( don't know where it went to ! ) that I didn't see why I would need to basically get a new computer to run Luminor.  At the moment I cannot use it at all !

  Hi Julia,

  Sorry, I tried your link and your advise to others too, including this;

  ''Please try this workaround: 

  1) Uninstall the app and clear your registry. You can do that in CCleaner, it's free. Download it here.

  2) Delete the Luminar 2018 folder in the Program Files/Skylum directory.

  3) Restart your PC.

  4) Install Luminar 2018 again.

  Here's a link to an installation file, just in case.

  Let me know how it goes.''

  Still get a message about openGL 3.3 required.

  Really missing using Luminor and so agree with Gary Sibio and his comments

  Thoroughly confused.

  Where are we on fixing this problem.

  I have an integrated graphics card that does not support openGL 3.3. Getting another graphics card not an option.

  Where are we???

  While we're looking for a solution you can install a previous version of Luminar 2018 that works fine with older OpenGL libraries. Click here to download

  That latest link for an older version does nothing either.  Just the  message;

   ''This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.''

  For your info my processor and driver details:

  Windows 7 home premium 64 bit(6.1 build 7601)

  Intel Core i5-2400S cpu @ 2.5GHz

  DirectX 11

  Display Drivers: Main driver igdumd64.dll,  

  Version 8.15.10.2430

  DDI version  10.1

  driver model   WDDM 1.1

  Intel HD Graphics Family

   

  I sincerely hope you find a ''fix'' soon.

  Hi lin md,

  Uninstalling the old version before updating is only recommended if you're having trouble running the automatic update utility. Here is the best way to update:

  1. Launch Luminar.
  2. Click Luminar 2018 in the upper left corner of your screen if you're on Mac, or Help if you're on Windows.
  3. Click Check for Updates.

  If you purchased Luminar from AppStore, launch AppStore and you should see the update for Luminar in the Updates tab (it might take some time for the update to become available in AppStore, so if you don't see one, check back later).

  The latest version of Luminar is 1.3.2 (5560) on Mac and 1.3.2 (2677) on Windows.

  If you have trouble with those instructions please let us know and we will provide you with instructions on uninstalling and reinstalling the software.
