I'm getting the same problem. Luminar will no longer start at all due to these errors.

I reported the same error a few days ago. Today I received a “fix” from Skylum but it didn’t solve the problem. This is the info they sent I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
    Please reinstall Luminar 2018.
Click on ‘Start’ menu > Settings > Apps > under ‘Apps & features’ please locate Luminar 2018 and click ‘Uninstall'
Then, please restart your PC and download Luminar 2018 for Windows one more time using the link below:
    https://s3-us-west-1.amazonaws.com/luminar2018/Luminar2018_Win_fix.exe
To date I am still waiting on Skylum developers resolving this issue.

Update. Skylum advises me to delete all registry files using cleaner that related to the program. I did this and opened the link that contained the so called fix. I just wasted 15 minutes because the situation is exactly the same! Back to you Skylum!!!!!!

    Hey guys,

In this case please do the following:

    1) Uninstall the app and clear your registry. You can do that in CCleaner, it's free.

    2) Delete the Luminar 2018 folder in the Program Files/Skylum directory.

    3) Restart your PC.

    4) Install Luminar 2018 again.

Please use this link to download Luminar 2018

I has already tried exactly the above "fix" before reporting the problem here - it did not work!

Had the same issue and used the suggested fix, which worked for me. Was lucky to notice this thread as i didn't see the fix communication elsewhere.

    Hi Norman,

Please note that it is important to clean the registry and download the hotfix version from this link

    Please confirm you did that.

I reinstalled Luminar using the link from a previous provided by Julia Kot and if the latest version is 1.2.0 (1873) then the update has been successful.

Can anyone confirm the latest version please?

    Hi S W,

    1. Uninstall Luminar and clear your registry using CCleaner. You can download it here: https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner

    2. Reinstall Luminar using this installation file

Please let us know how it goes.

I also had this issue with this update. I had to completely uninstall and use the - Luminar2018_Win_fix.exe - fix.

It worked.. I am however now seriously sceptical about installing new Luminar updates.
