I got a semi-cheap ActionCam with 20 MP today and was disappointed as I realised how bad the wide angle lens is for taking photos.
So I tried to correct the image with Luminar 2018s develop filter. It does work but the full setting 100% is not enough to correct it. You can't add the filter twice and you can't add another normal layer to add it again, because that filter does not have the lens correction anymore.
I found a workaround (or 'works as designed'?) by creating a merged (composite?) layer (I use the German version and don't know what it is called in english). In that type of layer you can add a second develop filter which contains the lens correction and setting it to about 100 will correct quite well. Of course it is also stretching parts which is expected.
I create a private preset for this but I think you should make Luminar supporting even wilder corrections such that a wide lens could be completely removed and even more. Maybe 300% of what the current setting does.
