Hello and greetings to all from Israel. I'm a pensioner and photography is a hobby that keeps me busy. I use Luminar to make my photos look better. I often have to deal with the very strong sunlight and cloudless skies that we have in this part of the world. This weather is great for the camera but often gives photos an "overcooked" look.Whilst I am no artist myself, I enjoy seeing the creations of others who work in that type of genre.

Hello, I'm from the UK and I like to shoot urban landscapes. I use a Sony A6000 (small and perfectly formed) usually with fast prime lenses. I think editing images is a complete pain and I'd rather be outside taking photographs, which is why I like Luminar. Its simple, useable and yet powerful. I prefer B&W images to colour. All my processing is on a MAC using Lightroom as a catalogue (Been waiting for the Luminar DAM for over a year now!) and Luminar/Aurora for all my RAW processing.

Hello, I live in Hudson Valley. Love taking landscape and outdoor pictures. I have been using Luminar 2018 as a stand-a-lone on my Windows 10 system. I like to experiment with the camera and software features. Will push my system and software as as far as I can. I am hoping to see more on Tricks and Tips that are out of the normal box.

Hi everyone, I'm a British expat who has lived in the North of Belgium (Dutch speaking part) for almost 60 years now. I'm meanwhile 68 and hence a pensioner. A chemist through training, after a short time in the lab, I worked as a Dutch-English technical translator & editor for many years, before transferring to clinical research (Biostatistics & Medical Writing) in the last 10-15 years of my professional life, where I was involved in compiling digital dossiers for new drug approvals.
I'm quite a keen photographer (Canon 7D), but in fact more interested in postprocessing (software) than in actual shooting, which is nowadays rather limited to portraits of my five grandchildren, and seascapes in the summertime. I have been using Macintosh for over 30 years now, and in the past was a Mac teacher in my spare time. I'm always ready and willing to try out new software! ;)
I'm a moderator on a Belgian (Dutch speaking) digital photography forum, where I'm in charge of the monthly photography Challenge.

Hello, I am Henny and a hobbyist. I live in the Netherlands, in the region West Friesland, am a woman of almost 80.
I am trying to understand Luminar and later Affinity photo. Maybe when I know more of it, I can skip my Adobe subscription, to save money. I hope and try to learn a lot from the tutorials.

Hullo from Melbourne, Australia! As a mature photographer, filmmaker, I've used innumerable softwares and they've all been ho hum. I love Luminar 3, and I'm eagerly awaiting the ability to import the Lightroom catalogs. I now shoot with Fujifilm (X-100f & X-Pro 2) and use Macs. I prefer shooting on the street & love the Luminar quick post treatment/adjustments.

Hello from New Zealand. I'm a keen amateur photographer and I particularly enjoy shooting old machinery and buildings. I'm currently enjoying HDR and am shooting with a Nikon D7100 and a Sony HX90. Have been using Luminar 2018 for quite a while and have just upgraded to Luminar 3. Looking forward to learning about all the new features.

Lg Anton

Hi Luminarists, My name is Victor Carmelo Sciberras. I was born in Malta but have lived in the UK, most of my life, now in beautiful Dorset. I am a Mac user and have used Luminar for a number of years and I think it's wonderful. I learned Lightroom from Version 1 (all the way to the last standalone which I still use as I hate subscriptions), without any tuition whatsoever. Luminar is just as easy to learn as LT. I Catalogue on LT but hardly use it now as I use Luminar as my go to editing software. I rarely use it as a Plugin and just open random images to work on all the time. It's nice seeing the software evolve over time and wish it and all the guys who made it all the best.

Hello,
I am Suraj from London in the UK. As a hobbyist, I am slowly getting back into photography after a decade or so of not doing much. Used to do landscape, urbanscapes and night photography. I’ve gone from a Nikon D40 to Fuji X-T1 to now a Fuji X100F and the iPhone with the Moment lenses. On the editing side, moved from Lightroom to Luminar 3 and Aurora HDR 2019.
I look forward to using these tools to create a good personal portfolio and enjoy the hobby that once gave me a lot of joy. Very early days with south software for me but so at I’ve enjoyed using them.

Hello from Western Washington (The real Washington). My name is Dave Taylor and have lived out her since 1965.
I have been involved with photography for the last 60 years developing my own film until they came out with digital cameras. Moved over to them when they came out and have used a number of different software programs. Looking forward to trying this one out. My daughter uses it and enjoys it.
